This machine was designed as manufacturing equipment for a special process requiring low-pressure injection molding of Polyethylene. It features auto-PID electronic barrel and mold heating, pneumatic actuation, and water cooled molds.
The machines were later used to develop a process for Polyethylene molding multiple cables onto a single large connector. Pacifico also developed the tooling and process for this project.
